Hotel Plus – the Mockup Hotel Room Show
Co-organisers: The China Tourist Hotel Association, the Alliance of China Hotel Owners
Hotel Plus was organised by Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co. Ltd., with the strong support of the Chinese Tourist Hotel Association and the Alliance of China Hotel Owners, the Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), Wanda Hotels & Resorts, Greenland, New Century, Shindom Inn and the Well-Tech Studio from Italy. The luxury design team (combining Italian designers from the Well-Tech Studio) built six suites of unique mockup rooms onsite.
Wanda Hotels & Resorts brought its Wanda Realm Hotel, creating a feeling of residential warmth and cosiness for business people. The design of Greenland's 'The Qube Hotel' embraced high fashion and combined the functional value of modern technology, the diversity of recreation, as well as compatibility for both living and working, adding to the infinite fun and vitality of the journey. 'Express' by Holiday Inn put the emphasis on what the customers feel is important, and allows the customer to enjoy a sound sleep at reasonable prices. The New Century Hotel offered a perfect combination of eastern culture and international standards, while providing caring services at the same time. Shindom Inn features the elegant Beijing Chinese design style, offering a perfect combination of modern cyber-technology and a traditional budget hotel service. Through the perfect combination of smart interactive products and sense technology, and the reasonable use of alternative systems and eco-friendly materials, the Italian Well-Tech Studio added plenty of technological innovation to the new generation of hotel design.
The mockup room was decorated and furnished by leading brands such as Megaman, Hafele, Legrand, Yuanzhicheng, Kaili, Nabel, Ardex, Cataland, Fantini, etc. The famous Italian hotel designer and the new energy specialist of Milan Expo 2015, Chiara Cantono, also shared her unique hotel design philosophy with the audience.
The Mosaic Art Exhibition
Mosaics have developed into a popular craft and art, and are not limited to professionals. Today's artisans and crafters work with stone, ceramics, shells, art glass, mirror, beads, and even odd items like doll parts, pearls, or photographs. While ancient mosaics tended to be architectural, modern mosaics are to be found covering everything from park benches and flowerpots to guitars and bicycles. Items can be as small as an earring or as large as a house.
The Celadon Tile Art Exhibition
The paintings from the famous artist Prof. Lu Zhi De, who is the President of the Austria-China Culture Exchange Centre, will go on display alongside Ceramics China. Literature and history complement each other and create accurate and shiny images of Republican Women on celadon tiles
